This is a pretty cool helper robot!
Helper robots are on the way for everyone, to help out in the home! This one is from 2008, so it's a little outdated now, but I like the video, and think it's a cute little robot.
Since then, there have been robots unveiled that can walk, talk, run, and play the violin, and soon we will all have a helper robot in our house doing the jobs that we would usually do ourselves, or hire people for.
I can't wait to have my own friendly machine taking out the garbage and doing the dishes for me, and I guarantee it won't be that long before it happens.
The question you need to ask yourself then is: Is this the start of judgement day? Will robots and machines become so advanced that they form artificial intelligence?
Are we going to use the three robot laws of Issac Asimov, and will they be enough? I don't know, and I don't think that robots taking over the earth is something we really need to worry about in our lifetime, but then again, if you look real close, this little guy has a slightly evil glint in his eye.
